Project Sunshine

Each year, Penington Painting Company proudly supports Project Sunshine, an initiative dedicated to making the holidays brighter for more than 700 children and young adults, ages 4 to 18. These young people have faced unimaginable challenges—homelessness, neglect, physical abuse, and the impacts of alcohol and drug addiction—and many have been removed from their homes for their own safety.

PPC provides materials, equipment, and labor to help create a joyful, uplifting holiday experience for these kids. Beyond the festivities, Project Sunshine offers a safe and stable environment where they can heal, grow, and prepare to re-enter society as healthy, whole individuals.

For us, it’s more than just giving back—it’s about bringing hope, comfort, and a reminder that brighter days are ahead.
