Hometown Heroes 5K Event

Penington Painting Company proudly supports the annual Hometown Heroes 5K, a run, walk, and obstacle race designed by members of the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, and Coast Guard to challenge participants of all ages and abilities. This dog- and kid-friendly event brings the community together for a day full of fun and fitness.

All funds raised benefit Camp Hometown Heroes, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering and supporting children ages 7–17 who have lost a parent in military service. Since 9/11, over 5,000 children have experienced this loss, and Camp Hometown Heroes offers healing summer camps and programs to help them grow, heal, and thrive.
